Eagles Baseball Interview - Trey Fisher

March 23, 2019

Trey Fisher is the lone senior on the Eagles squad. We talked with him about the season and some information about himself.

- On how the season is going...

“The season was going slow at the start, but we are starting to come together as a team. We (had) our first district game Friday.”

- On if he or the team have any superstitions...

“We have a superstition to where everyone in the field has to wear some sort of chain necklace. We won our first game while doing this and it has been a superstition since.”

- On who his favorite MLB player is and his plans after high school...

“Giancarlo Stanton is my favorite MLB player. I was going to go play baseball at a D3 college in Arkansas, but I made a last minute decision to go to A&M instead. Staying close to home is what changed my mind.”

On being the only senior...

“It was a mess at first, because the majority of our team is underclassmen. But, I’ve taken more of a leadership role as the season has progressed and things are going much smoother.”

Special thanks to Trey Fisher for the interview and good luck to Eagles for the rest of their season.
