Tuesday, September 17th, the A&M Consolidated Tigers varsity volleyball team took on the Waller Bulldogs at home. From the beginning, the Lady Tigers dominated the court, taking the first set 25-11. As the night unfolded, the Bulldogs struggled to keep up with the Tigers, who came out on top, winning the next two sets 25-15 and 25-14.

Senior Cierra Gilbert lead the team with 8 kills, followed by junior Emma Pahl with 7 kills. Gilbert was also tied in blocks with fellow senior Lauryn Callis who both ended the night with 3 blocks. Leading the defense, was senior libero Maddie McKinney with 14 digs.

After this win, the Tigers move to an astounding 6-1 home record. After losing a hard fought battle last week against College Station, it was nice to watch the team bounce back and play competitive ball. This team shows great potential and we cannot wait to see where the rest of the season takes them.

The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Friday, September 20 at 6:00 p.m. as they take on the Rudder Rangers at Rudder High School.
