Game Recap: The Tigers Take Down the Raiders

The Friday night lights were definitely shining down on the A&M Consolidated Tigers tonight as they took on the Rouse Raiders. Senior quarterback Gage Pahl came out with all cylinders firing in the first quarter throwing the first of many touchdown passes. Pahl completed a 30 yard pass to senior wide receiver Brian Darby to put the Tigers up 7-0 by the end of the 1st quarter. Pahl continued to impress in the 2nd quarter as he connected again with Brian Darby for a 17 yard touchdown pass. Caleb Martinez was the next person to add to the score with a 23 yard rushing touchdown advancing the lead to 21-0. As the night progressed, the defense got in on the action as the Tiger Nate Floyd returned a 64 yard interception for a touchdown to increase the lead to 28-0. The shutout would end there with the Raiders putting 3 on the board with a 34 yard field goal to end the half at 28-3. The Tigers did not stop there and in the second half, Gage Pahl would once again connected with wide receiver Brian Darby on a 14 yard touchdown pass. The Tigers would go on and win the game 42-3, increasing their record to 3-0 for the season. Gage Pahl ended the night with 132 passing yards and three touchdowns. While Brian Darby ended with three touchdowns and 91 receiving yards.

A&M Consolidated looks to continue their undefeated record as they go on the road to Huntsville to face the Hornets on Friday, September 27th at 7:30 p.m.
