A&M Consolidated Game Recap: Tigers take the W against Bears in Homecoming Game

October 6, 2019

Before the night was filled with dancing and laughter of A&M Consolidated High School’s Homecoming dance, the Consol Tigers knew they had to go out on the field and take care of business against the Montgomery Bears. Consol walked away with a win of 41-21 under their belts and a night of fun festivities to look forward to.

Senior quarterback, Gage Pahl, threw a total of 313 passing yards, 54 rushing yards, and 5 touchdowns to take down the Bears. However, Pahl had some help throughout the night from fellow senior wide receiver Nate Floyd, who made two of the five touchdowns with a total of 79 receiving yards. Along with his excellent showing on the field, Nate Floyd was named Homecoming King along with Tiger volleyball player, Addie Wright, and was paraded around the field at halftime while the Tigers sat comfortably on their 28-7 lead.

On a whole, the Tigers maintained the lead showing their drive to win the fight against the Bulldogs. Throughout the game they held a two score lead giving the Tigers room to make passing plays which paid dividends in the end. Overall, Consol looked to be a dominant team with strong players who weren’t going to take it easy on the Montgomery Bears and are able to add another win next to their names as they still remain undefeated in the season.

Catch the Tigers as they take on Katy Paetow in their next home game at 7:30 on October 18th.
