A&M Consolidated Weekly Preview - October 6 - 12

October 6, 2019
271

The A&M Consolidated football and volleyball teams will look to keep the momentum rolling coming off of big victories this week. The Tiger’s took care of business against Montgomery in their homecoming matchup, and the Lady Tiger’s were able to pull out two tough games against Magnolia and Magnolia West, both of which went to the fifth set. Hopefully, these wins will give both teams a confidence boost going into the upcoming week.

The Lady Tiger’s are set to face off at home against College Station High School (CSHS) Tuesday, October 8 at 6:00 PM. This could be one of the biggest games of the year for A&M Consolidated as they are currently placed second in district and only one game behind the district frontrunners, CSHS. A win on Tuesday night would move the Lady Tigers into first place and a step closer to making the playoffs. They also have an away game on Friday, October 11 at 5:00 PM against the Waller Bulldogs. Winning both games would move the Lady Tiger’s to 6-1 in district play and put them in an outstanding position as they move into the latter half of their district games.

The Lady Tigers aren’t the only ones with an important week ahead. The A&M Consolidated football team will be on the road this Saturday, October 12  to play the Lamar Mustangs at 6:00 PM. You do not want to miss these two undefeated district opponents fight to protect their untarnished records. Tiger victory would mean an impressive 6-0 record, giving them great momentum moving forward.
