This week’s My BCS Sports’ player spotlight is none other than Brazos Christian’s volleyball star, senior Belle Kyle. In their final home game last Monday, despite a tough lost, Belle Kyle’s performance did not waiver one bit with 8 kills, 2 digs, & an ace. Before the team took the floor for their practice this Thursday, Belle Kyle, sat down with Tobe Zientek and Zach Marshall from our very own My BCS Sports team tp shed a little light on what the star player’s life is like off the court.

To no surprise, Belle comes from an experienced volleyball family. She considers her father her inspiration, who has played for about two decades! It really shows, in her skill and IQ of the game, that she has the experience and ability to possibly play at the next level. Belle plans on attending either Texas A&M University or Dallas Baptist University, where she has hopes of playing volleyball as well. Her dream career involves contributing to the research analysis field in the marketing industry. From witnessing first-hand Belle’s intelligence, creativity, and work ethic; she is more than equipped to succeed in any career path that she desires.

Her brilliance on the floor seamlessly translates to her community involvement as well as her success in the classroom. As of right now, Belle’s favorite subject in school is Pre-Calculus and she is involved in a plethora of extracurricular activities and organizations. She is currently part of the National Honor Society, National Charity League, Praise Band, Junior Leadership Brazos, and Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy. Her leadership, selflessness, and initiative within the classroom and community is a true testament to the type of honorable woman that Belle has become and will continue to grow toward being. Her pre-game routine involves blasting music in the car with her fellow senior teammates in order to, “get hype,” before the competition. This has clearly proved to be an effective ritual, considering her impressive stat line for the season; 6 aces (89.7 IN%), 30 total blocks, 58 digs, and 125 kills (0.121 HIT%).

Lady Eagles head coach, Kara Green, also praises Belle’s consistently positive attitude and hard work, stating, “She has been willing to go above and beyond to help her team. She is an encouraging teammate and a confident player on the court.” Belle says that volleyball has played an important role in shaping her into the person that she is today. She explained how the game has taught her values such as motivation, hard-work, and persistence in chasing desired goals. These characteristics are so
